The fonts

Every font here was made by its designers and is published under an open license, mostly the SIL Open Font License, some Apache 2.0 or MIT. Each family page names its designer and license and links to the full text. Your use of a font is governed by that license, not by these terms. We only host the files.

The service

You're welcome to use the CSS API and font files on your own sites and apps, free of charge. Please be reasonable:

• Don't overload the server, e.g. by scraping or mirroring it in bulk. Download the files you need and host them yourself instead.
• Don't use it to attack, disrupt or get around the protections of this or any other service.

We may rate-limit or block traffic that harms the service for everyone else.

No warranty

The service is provided as is, without any warranty or uptime guarantee. Fonts can be updated, and families can be added or removed. File URLs are content-addressed, so a URL you got from /css2 keeps pointing at the same bytes while that file is still hosted. If your site can't live with an outage, self-host the fonts.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest change.
